A small studio,
deliberately.
kumoworks builds agentic operations for Indian businesses. One workflow at a time, with senior people, published prices, and a handover you can actually own.
Why we exist
The cloud should do the work.
Not your team.
Most Indian businesses run on a patchwork of WhatsApp, spreadsheets, Tally, and the memory of one or two indispensable people. It works — until volume grows, someone leaves, or a customer asks a question at 11pm.
AI made the demo easy and the deployment hard. The hard part isn’t the model. It’s the permissions, the exceptions, the approvals, the audit trail, and the hundred small decisions that make a workflow trustworthy on a Monday morning.
kumoworks exists to do that last mile. We’re not a transformation programme, a staffing agency, or a prompt shop. We’re a small studio that takes a process, builds the system, proves it, and leaves you owning it.
Kumo (雲) means cloud. Works is the work. The name is a reminder of the point: the infrastructure should absorb the repetition, not the people.
What we believe
Four beliefs.
No exceptions.
The process is the product.
A model is a component. The value is in a workflow that someone can explain, measure, and improve. We spend more time on the process than the prompt.
Trust is a feature.
Approvals, logs, evals, and fallbacks aren’t overhead. They’re the reason a team will actually use the system after the pilot.
Ownership beats lock-in.
You get the code, credentials, prompts, and runbooks. If you want to run it without us, you should be able to. That’s the test of a good handover.
Small is a strategy.
We take three clients at a time so the person who scoped the work is the person who builds it. No handoff to a junior you never met.
The difference
Where we fit
in the market.
Big firms sell programmes. No-code agencies sell tools. Freelancers sell hours. We sell a working workflow, with the boring parts included.

Market descriptions are generalisations, not claims about specific firms. Pricing ranges are indicative and vary by scope.
“The best automation is the one your team stops noticing. It just quietly makes the day less stupid.”

How we work
Senior-only.
Direct access.
You work with the person who designs and builds the system. There is no account manager, no offshore handoff, and no “let me take that back to the team”. The person on the call is the person in the code.
We keep the client list short on purpose. A build takes 3–8 weeks; a care plan is ongoing. Three active clients is the most we can serve without becoming the bottleneck we’re trying to remove.
If we’re not the right fit — too small, too regulated, too early, or the process isn’t ready — we’ll say so on the call and point you somewhere better.

Outcome-obsessed.
We pick the simplest stack that can run reliably in your environment. These are the tools we reach for most often — not a mandatory list.

One rule: if we can’t explain how to operate it without us, we haven’t finished building it.
